The photograph is the essence of the art practice of Þórdís Jóhannesdóttir at Thordis J - Studio. I see the photograph as material and once shot is snapped I find it form of some kind. That I do by bending the material the photograph is mounted on or by adding another material. This process, the forming, is guided by the content of each photograph.
